The Division of Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Medanta - The Medicity is headed Dr. Rajiv Parakh who after the aquiring Fellowship of Royal College of surgeons in United Kingdom in 1986, trained in Vascular Surgery and joined a city Hospital in 1990 and was instrumental in starting the one of the first Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in north India. He has now moved to start the institute of Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Medanta- The Medicity, Gurgaon as the chairman. He is also the founder member of Vascular Society of India, Endovasacular Intervention Society of India and is a Life Member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, He was elected as Secretary of the International Society for Vascular Surgery, New York, USA in 2007 and is now tipped to become vice president.
